Prescott Farmers Market

This unique farmers market is not just about having a place to find locally grown food, but is a non-profit organization dedicated to making the Prescott community a healthy & happy place to call home. The Prescott Farmers Market is a producer-only market. This means that the only food sold there is directly grown by the person handing it to you.

The Prescott Farmers Market may have started small during its humble beginnings in 1997, but today it is a thriving part of the community that is giving back one vegetable at a time. They are responsible for several programs which support the community, including Feed Your Neighbors which ensures fresh local vegetables get to households who needs it most, their Seed Library which makes getting free seeds for your garden as easy as going to Prescott Public Library, and the Prescott Community Compost Program which processes kitchen scraps collected from the Saturday farmers market into compost to be used in gardens and on farms throughout the Prescott area.
