Prescott, AZ has got to be one of the most patriotic cities in the country, and boy does Prescott know how to celebrate our country's independence day! From the Oldest Rodeo to amazing fireworks displays, Prescott is definitely an amazing place to celebrate the Fourth of July.
The World’s Oldest Rodeo is one of Precott's most celebrated events. This year, join in on the festivities June 28th-July 4th, where Western action will be happening all week long.
Oldest Rodeo events include steer wrestling, bareback riding, tie-down roping, women’s breakaway roping, saddle bronc riding, team roping, women’s barrel racing, bull riding, and other great entertainment for the whole family! There is also a Rodeo Parade and Rodeo Dance you won't want to miss

The Annual Whiskey Row Boot Race is a 100-yard* dash down historic Whiskey Row in Prescott, AZ. The yearly race is a re-enactment of the historical foot race of earlier years, but with an added twist: the contestants are required to wear cowboy boots during their dash in keeping with the western atmosphere of Prescott and the Frontier Days festivities.

The City of Prescott will host their Independence Day Fireworks Celebration on Watson Lake, Saturday, July 1, 2023. The family-friendly event will begin at 3:00 p.m., with fireworks expected to take place around 9:00 p.m.

Come join PV for fireworks, music, and food at the Town of Prescott Valley’s Red, White, and Boom event! Our 4th of July celebration will be held at the Prescott Valley Civic Center from 3:00 pm – 9:30 pm this year, so prepare for a bigger and better event! Featuring carnival rides, splash inflatables, food trucks, a beer garden, and much more. They will also be featuring live artists such as Tyller Gummersall and Trailer Park Millionaires. Fireworks will begin at 9:00 pm on July 4th.
You are welcome to start the party early over at the Findlay Toyota Center! Tailgating and RV parking will be available on a first-come first-serve basis! There also will be space over at Bob Edwards Park for firework viewing. This will be perfect for families looking for a calm space to watch the fireworks.
